We designed, sculpted, fired and glazed our own Ancient Greek-inspired pottery.

We made a variety of Easter food (and drink) for our Ludd Cafe Rangers' Day.

We had a great day out to Kent Life, learning about Ancient Greece and feeding some animals.

Dressing up for World Book Day.

We had a lot of fun doing a variety of outdoor activities for our Rangers' Day this term.

We have enjoyed designing, making and flying our kites as part of our DT project.

We spent the morning following maps and spotting nature at Oare Gunpowder Works.

We have really enjoyed going to Faversham Gym Club this term!

Term 1 Rangers' Day: Dance

In science, we are learning about the digestive system!

We broke up bananas and biscuits with our fingers.

This represents how we break down food with our teeth.

It went into our plastic bag (the stomach).

In our stomach, our food is churned around.

It mixes with stomach acid.

The food is broken down into a smoother mixture.

Our food passes through into the small intestine.

Here, all the nutrients are absorbed out.

They travel across our bodies to keep us healthy.

The large intestine is one of the final stops.

All remaining nutrients and moisture are taken out.

Everything left nears the end of the journey.

What is left cannot be used by our bodies....

It is stored as faeces.
