We have had lots of fun in Term 4 baking! We have made different variations of bread and added our own ingredients. We even tied this into our Rangers Day where we created our own pitta and tortilla wrap pizzas with a scone pudding!

We used natural materials that we collected outside to create our own art.

We played some matching games for french food.

We have been making cross-curricular links and have tied in our PE and Science this week and used our listening skills to follow sounds. We noticed that sounds got quieter the further we were away from the sound. We had to use just our listening sense in pairs to follow our partners' instrument sound.

To start our new topic in Term 3, we had a go at being archaeologists this week and dug up some Tudor artefacts.

We have tied together our Art and RE learning this term looking at some traditional Hindu wedding dresses and experimenting with Batik for the first time! We enjoyed looking at the intricate designs and then trialing using the tjanting tools to create patterns with wax on fabric.

We have then been using OS Maps and seeing how many different symbols we could find on maps of Faversham and Pendle!

We have enjoyed using Glockenspiels when looking at Jazz through our Music this term!

We had some spooky outfits at the Halloween Disco last term!

Luddenham's very own Carnival!

We were lucky to have a Peacock nominated for the Fred the FLIGHT Flamingo Award this week. This goes to a person in the school who is consistently showing our school values. Well done Luke!

We kick-started our Rangers year off with some STEM activities. We made spaghetti towers, explored dancing rangers, made tornadoes in a bottle and then potions. We then protected an egg and tested them falling from the Pirate ship!

Some amazing Takeaway Homework's already this term!

Fairness, Leadership, Imagination, Grit, Honesty, Team Work
