Luddenham School Every Child Can Achieve

Forest School & Luddenham Rangers

Following on from Mrs Nye, Mrs Blaxill will be taking over the running of forest school. In addition Miss Mackett who has joined us this year is also a Forest school leader.

We currently have Year Two children go to forest school. Every child has a 6 week block to experience Forest School values and ethos. We are looking to expand this further so each class gets to taste Forest School. We have begun to expand this through our Rangers sessions where each class has a forest school session.

Luddenham Rangers Parents Presentation

Luddenham Rangers

Introduced in 2019/2020 'the icing on our cake.'  In addition to the amazing topic based curriculum each class offers we are offering our children the opportunity to develop additional skills through outdoor learning and citizenship.  The children will have a day off timetable each term to take part in activities such as forest school, Dance, Music, Climbing and archery.  We are continuing to develop the timetable to offer progressive skills from EYFS through to Yr6.

If you have any questions, can offer an extra pair of hands as a parent helper or have suggestions for Rangers activities please contact Mrs Blaxill via Owl@luddenham.kent.sch.uk or the main school office.

Here is the timetable of activities we are covering for each year group. These are not set in stone and are subject to change due to the availability of certain activities.
