Luddenham School Every Child Can Achieve

Home Learning

IT’S (nearly) CHRISTTTMAAAAAAS!!!

This means we need to get practicing some Christmas songs for our performance to parents in just over two weeks. We will be doing this with year 3 but it would be great if you could have a listen and maybe practice some of these at home before next week.

Unfortunately we have had to go back to a block of home learning to ensure we keep as many people safe as possible. Below you will find the home learning slides for each day with my voice-overs to try and help you along each task.

Please if you have any problems or questions, do not hesitate to contact me on the class email and I will get back to you as quickly as I can. (peacock@luddenham.kent.sch.uk)

Do not forget you could look at the Homework Take Away Menu for further ideas for the afternoons and get creative in different ways. Feel free to send me photos of your work or bring it in on Monday 29th November.

Suggestions of things to look at in the afternoons:

Art:

We have missed out on some Art and things this week and lots of you have enjoyed using your sketch books and following some step by step guides so I thought you might enjoy looking at the below link for a tutorial of something you would like to draw. There are some different animals, objects and themed things on here so take your pick and have fun!

PE:

You could have a look at some of the Joe Wicks Workouts to try at home, use some of the Cosmic Yoga videos or try your favourite songs on Just Dance.

English/Computing/Art:

Lots of you enjoy making comic strips - retell your favourite story or come up with your own story as a comic.

You could do this by hand or the below link for the online comic maker looks fun too!

Computing:

You can use Scratch Online at home for free. You can find some tutorials like we have done in class or enjoy making your own Scratch projects.
